The English queueing for the new iPad. The French queueing for the new iPad. Vive la différence!

I’m sitting in the sun, being brought coffee, tea and cake whilst queuing for the iPad 2. I queued for the iPhone 4, and the chap in front of me got the last one. I’m hoping for better luck this time. Fingers crossed.

It says so much about the obsessively beautiful design of Apple products that even the backs of their products look this good.

I look up from my iPhone and notice that sitting diagonally opposite me, on the other side of the train, is the friendly guy from my local Apple Store. He sold me the earphones I’m listening to now. Minium² is probably the most nicely executed and complete set of system icons I’ve seen for a long time; even the dock is perfect.
