Bob Hoskins passed away today. I’m a huge Hoskins fan, but by far my favourite of his films is The Long Good Friday which has one of the best endings ever committed to celluloid.
The way in which he conveys a range of emotions from surprise to anger to realisation and finally acceptance without speaking a word is mesmerising.
A wonderful actor and a huge loss.
