Whilst making my coffee this morning I remembered this video I shot a while back as a test of iMovie on the iPhone and iPad.

I was surprised just how good the video from the iPhone is, but also surprised at what a palaver it is to get the movie off of the iPhone and onto the iPad for editing.

Getting data on and off the iOS devices is fast becoming a real chink in Apple’s armour I believe, but I digress.

Ladies and Gentlemen, for your viewing pleasure, I present my first iMovie:

Espresso Roma!
I’ve just discovered a wonderful tradition; the caffè sospeso, or suspended espresso.

In Naples when a customer is particularly happy with their espresso they will pay for two; the second being the suspended espresso.

Then when somebody who is homeless, or down on their luck comes to the cafe they can ask if there are any coffees in suspense; and then have a coffee courtesy of the first customer. What a lovely idea.

I love the fact that there are coffee shops on every high street in the UK now and that we can at last buy a decent cup of coffee wherever we are.

I stopped to buy an Americano (strong black coffee) on the way in this morning and overheard the person in front of me ordering a decaf soya latte.

A decaf soya latte?  So that’s a very milky coffee made without milk and using coffee without caffeine. Doesn’t that kind of defeat the object?

If you don’t like caffeine or milk then maybe a latte isn’t the drink for you…
